Topic: Reies Tijerina and the land grants
Your Topic and Annotated Bibliography should include:
A paragraph describing the topic and types of questions or issues you will be investigating. A paragraph includes at least three complete sentences.
- Your bibliography must include at least 4 possible sources. 1 of these sources must be primary source( newspaper, photo, cartoon, etc.. published during the time period you are researching).

- Your bibliography must be annotated. “Annotated” means that you must include a sentence below each bibliographic entry describing how the item listed relates to your topic or what research questions you hope the item will address.

In Felix Longoria’s Wake, Carroll analyzes inequality in the schooling of Mexican Americans in South Texas. My topic is the way in which Latinos experienced segregation in schools in New Mexico before 1960. I hope Carroll’s analysis will help me to analyze how segregation worked in Texas in comparison.
